I have been playing the piano for the past 20 years and teaching for the past 16. I love music and the joy that it brings to both the performer and the audience! I graduated with a BM from The Masters University with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy and Worship Ministries in 2016, and continue to seek to grow daily in my abilities as a teacher. I am an active member of the Music Teachers Association of California, and love being able to spend my week working with students as they grow in their skills as musicians!
Music has been one of my main passions for many years. There are so many benefits of study- whether it be discipline, the ability to accomplish something challenging, creating a work of beauty, sharing that beauty with others, or simply learning to express oneself through music.
I offer private classes, in which I always seek to grow the student to perform with correct technique and the basics of music theory. Depending on the goals of the individual student, we might focus on classical music, chord charts, pop music, playing by ear, etc.
